Welcome to the Laguna Beach Unified School District's web site.
We are a wonderful school district in a wonderful community. We are proud of
our schools and committed to continuously improving them.
Our Board, our teachers, our support staffs, and our many supportive parents
and community members work hard to make our schools places where each and
every student can be successful. Our Board and the administration are
collaborating with teachers to set high standards and reach them. Our
parents and community members give generously to our schools both personally
and financially, helping us to create the extra programs and services that
make our learning environments productive and conducive to learning.
We are Laguna Beach Unified, a very special place!

Norma Shelton
The Business Services Division is responsible for the fiscal integreity of the general fund and its related funds. Currently the general fund operates a budget of a little over $23 million dollars which includes both restricted and unrestricted funds. The Business Services area is also charged with the responsibility of managing the new construction and modernization monies from the General Obligation Bond. Other areas of Business Service responsibility are Maintenance and Operations as well as Food Services and Student Transportation.
